Rejoice or Regret
This is the time of year when we look back over the last eleven months of 2016 and ask, "What happened? Where did the time go? Did I accomplish my goals? What were my goals for 2016"
As you reflect over the past year, I hope the 10-second flash back leaves a smile on your face. If it didn't, pause a few more seconds to recall a memory that does make you feel good.
Ashley (a fiction character) had her share of both good and bad memories when she was married and learned, over time, how to push the negative thoughts to the back of her mind and focus on positive events like eating at her favorite restaurant, drinking an exotic cocktail, and loving again.
An easy way to change your mood is to start watching comedy movies. It is virtually impossible to laugh and be sad at the same time. My recommendation would be "You Got Mail, The Money Pit, Friday, War of the Roses, SoulPlane, and Thor (I know its not funny movie, but the Star of the movie makes Ashley smile :).
